The six teams featured in the evening session include; Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Nebraska, Oregon State and Auburn.  This session will be a battle until the end as team’s aim for a bid to the Super Six competition. Also on the line during prelims is the all-around title.

Oklahoma
- The defending National Champion, Oklahoma Sooners won regionals with a score of 197.625.  The Sooners will start on a bye before floor and have to finish on the ever challenging beam.  The Sooners have proven over the past few years they are a beam team, and they will have to prove that once again.  The Sooners will look to Erica Brewer, Chayse Capps and Haley Scaman to qualify back to the Super Six.  Watch for the impressive Sooners to continue their success during prelims.

LSU- The Tigers will have a favorable draw starting on vault and competing in Olympic Order.  The LSU Tigers have shown some inconsistency in the post season, and will need four strong rotations to qualify back to the Super Six.  Look for LSU to go big on vault and floor to propel them into the top three.  LSU is full of talent and drive and will be a contender for the National Championship.  LSU will need strong performances for Ashleigh Gnat, Jessie Jordan and Rheagan Courville

Alabama- The Alabama Crimson Tide won their regional with a 197.575.  The Crimson Tide are peaking at the right time, winning both SEC Championships and Regionals.  Alabama will begin prelims on floor, finishing on a bye. The Crimson Tide will need to set a high team score as they sit out the final rotation to see if they qualify into the Super Six.  Alabama will be led by Lauren Beers, Caitlin Clark and Kayla Williams.

Auburn- The Auburn Tigers placed second at regionals with a team score of 196.90.  The Auburn Tigers are heading to Nationals for the first time since 2003.  The Tigers will begin on bars and finish on a bye.  The Tigers will go big in prelims as they aim for a bid to the Super Six.  The Tigers will look to Megan Walker and Caitlin Atkinson to lead the way during prelims, as they aim big for Super Six.

Nebraska- The Nebraska Cornhuskers finished second at regionals with a 196.95.  The Cornhuskers bounced back with a strong performance following the Big Ten Championships.  Nebraska will begin prelims on beam and finish on bars.  Nebraska has shown some inconsistency this season on beam, and will be put to the test on their first event.  Last year Nebraska had the meet of their lives to qualify them into the Super Six.  This season they will need another impressive meet to surpass the top teams.  Look for Jessie DeZiel and Hollie Blanske to provide big scores for the Cornhuskers.

Oregon State- Oregon State finished second at regionals with a team score of 196.75.  The Beavers will have a great draw, staring on a bye before bars and finishing on vault.  The Beavers are looking to for their first trip back to the Super Six since 1996.  Oregon State will need a strong performance from their only all-around gymnast, Madeline Gardiner.  Look for the Beavers to go big and be aggressive as they aim for the Super Six.

The second prelim session will also feature six all-around individuals including: Taylor Harrison (Ohio State), Michaela Woodford (North Carolina State), Nina McGee (Denver), Brittni Watkins (North Carolina State), Cami Drouin-Allaire (George Washington) and Kelsey Morris (Boise State).
