Canada Sails Through Senior Qualifications
In the second night of competition at the 2015 Jesolo Trophy the Canadian, Italian, and French squads took to the floor. With a 221.450, Canada easily soared to the top of the leaderboard following tonight’s event. France (217.400) nabbed the silver while Italy (208.250) landed in the bronze slot. All three teams will advance to the team final on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
The highest three all around finishers from the Italian mixed team also earned the opportunity to compete as individuals in Saturday’s senior all around final. Rocca Arianna (52.35), Jessica Mattoni (51.650), and Nicole Terlenghi (51.000) went one, two, three in the individual competition and will challenge for medals again this weekend.
