In his first category A World Cup event, 20-year-old Donnell Whittenburg represented the red, white, and blue with pride as he received a bronze medal at the 2014 Stuttgart World Cup Challenge.

 

As the only American competing as an individual, Whittenburg executed impressive routines taking top marks on floor (15.466) and still rings (15.366) as well as a third-place finish in the all-around (90.398) behind Ukrainian Oleg Verniaiev (1st place - 91.731) and Brazilian Sergio Sasaki (2nd - 90.565).

The next FIG World Cup event will be held this Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland.
