"Pocket Rocket" A Beaming Beacon For BT Sport's Action Woman Of The Year

Claudia “Pocket Rocket” Fragapane
has been nominated for the 2nd Annual BT Sport’s Action Woman of the Year Award, a prestigious honor among Great Britain’s finest athletes. It will be up to the public to decide the winner of the esteemed award as voting will close Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

For those unfamiliar with this sensational competitior, Claudia Fragapane launched herself to prominence with a breakout season on the world stage. Standing only four-feet-five-inches tall, this international senior elite has let her performance, not her stature, do the talking.

Plagued by injury during her first year as an elite in 2013, Fragapane burst onto the scene at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Not only did she contribute to the English team gold medal, she made history by winning individual floor, vault, and all-around titles, becoming the first English woman to win four gold medals at the Commonwealth Games since 1930.

We wish Claudia the best of luck in her future pursuits and look forward to seeing this remarkable gymnast back on the international scene very soon!
