Australia Announces Women's 2014 World Championship Team
The Australian gymnasts have been in Canberra at training camp for a week, and ten gymnasts have been competing for a place on Australia’s 2014 World Championships team. After the conclusion of the camp, the gymnasts were selected to represent Australia: 
 
Georgia-Rose Brown (Victorian Institute of Sport)- First World Championship appearance in 2011.
 
Larrissa Miller (Victorian Institute of Sport / Waverley Gymnastics Centre)- Competed in the 2009, 2010, 2011 World Championships; Placed first in the team and uneven bar final at the 2014 Australia National Championships.
 
Lauren Mitchell (Western Australian Institute of Sport)- Competed in the 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 World Championships, as well as the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012.
 
Mary-Anne Monckton (Victorian Institute of Sport)- Competed in the 2011 World Championships; Placed 1st on beam at the 2014 Australian National Championships.
 
Kiara Munteanu (Victorian Institute of Sport)- Competed at the 2014 Australian National Championships where she placed 3rd in the all-around and 2nd on vault. 
 
Emma Jane Nedov (Sydney Gymnastics & Aquatic Centre)- Competed at the 2014 Australian National Championships where she placed 5th in the all-around and on vault and second on beam. 
 
Olivia Vivian (Western Australian Institute of Sport)- Has competed at the 2005 and 2006 World Championships, as well as in the 2008 Olympic Games. Placed 2nd on bars, 6th on beam, and 3rd on floor at the 2014 Australian National Championships.
 
Non traveling alternate:
Emily Little (Western Australian Institute of Sport)- Competed at the 2012 Olympic Games.
