Shuko Uchimura, mother of five time World All-Around Champion and 2012 Olympic Champion, Kohei Uchimura, competed in a two-part All Japan Senior Championship September 14th weekend. 
 

It was her first return after 30 years and she wanted to tell people that "you can enjoy it [gymnastics] as a lifelong sport." 

Haruhi Uchimura, Kohei’s sister also competed in the competition. Haruhi is an international elite and is ranked 14th in Japan, 

The sport clearly runs in the family and Shuko, as well as being in great shape, proves that age is just a number, even in gymnastics!
