The full nominative list of competitors for the 2014 World Championships was released via FIG today. Shortly after, Brazil confirmed their teams through a Facebook post. 

On the women's team is Daniele Hypolito, Isabelle Cruz, Julie Kim Sinmon, Leticia Costa, Maria Cecilia Cruz, Mariana Oliveira, and Mariana Valentine. Hypolito has competed in the past four Olympics and was the first woman from Brazil to medal at World Championships when she won a silver on floor in 2001. 

All of these gymnasts except Valentine were part of Brazil's silver medal winning Pan Am Championships team. Brazil posted the highest scores as a team on beam and floor. Hypolito, Costa, and Sinmon posted the seventh highest all-around scores with 54.1s. Sinmon also won bronze on beam.

The men's team consists of Arthur Nory Mariano, Arthur Zanetti, Caio Souza, Diego Hypolito, Francisco Barretto Junior, Lucas Bittencourt, Petrix Barbosa and Sergio Sasaki. All of these gymnasts except for Barbosa competed at Pan Am Championships where they won bronze as a team.
