Gymnastike and Flocasts are committed to growing the sport and supporting our athletes. We are also committed to reporting all news relevant to the sport in a timely manner. In an effort to do so on Sunday, we regretfully brought more attention to an event that does not reflect positively on our sport and its athletes. For this I am sorry.

In retrospect I acknowledge that the reporting of stories of this nature is not in line with our editorial voice and our commitment to championing the sport of gymnastics, its athletes, and coaches. Moving forward, we pledge our continued dedication to provide the most comprehensive, tasteful coverage of this sport on behalf of its passionate community.
