For the second year in a row, Simone Biles was crowned the U.S. Senior National Champion after day two of the P&G Championships. She dominated the competition and finished with an incredible 122.55 combined all-around score, more than four points ahead of the rest of the field. Kyla Ross came in second despite a rough day one, finishing with a 118.3. Maggie Nichols had a solid, consistent competition and placed third with a 117.9.

Biles was in the lead by over three points heading into tonight’s competition. She started out her night on floor with her jaw-dropping routine that included her sky-high signature double layout half out. She scored a 15.5, a tenth and a half lower than night one. Nichols started on beam with a beautiful routine. She looked confident and solid and scored a 14.75. Ross followed on floor where she took out the whip to Arabian that she fell on on night one and instead just did a handspring to Arabian to an immediate stag jump.  She scored a 14.8. Alyssa Baumann had a beautiful beam set nearly sticking everything and earned a 15.15. Madison Kocian also had a gorgeous beam routine but stumbled back on her double pike dismount and scored a 14.55. Mykayla Skinner was next on floor with her “Bond”-themed floor routine and powerful tumbling. Her laid out double double had form issues like usual but was still very impressive.  She finished strong for a 15.1 with a 6.6 difficulty score. Felicia Hano also started on floor with a clean routine including a double layout and double pike.

Nichols moved to floor and opened with a big double layout, followed with a piked full in, and scored a 14.45. Baumann continued her amazing competition with a clean routine on floor for a 14.45. Skinner moved to vault where she performed a Cheng for a 15.4 and a Yurchenko double for a 15.1. Biles followed on vault with her incredible Amanar, smiling as soon as she landed and scoring a 15.9. She followed with a Yuchenko half on layout half off for a 15.25.

Nichols kicked off the third rotation with a Yuchenko double that had great height and a nearly stuck landing for a 15.1. Ross moved to bars where she hit a gorgeous routine that earned a 9.1 execution score and a 15.0. Nica Hults had a very clean bar routine for a 14.35. Baumann had one of her best Yurchenko doubles for a 14.9. Skinner hit her bar routine but had a 7.6 execution score for a 13.2. Maddie Desch had a solid Yurchenko double for a 14.5. Biles followed with an incredible nearly perfect bar routine that included a stuck full in dismount for a 14.75.

Hano finished her three event night with a solid beam routine earning a 14.2. Brenna Dowell was next on bars for her only event of the night. She had an impressive routine and after falling on the wrong side on a pirouette, she worked out of it and covered it well. She finished strong but only scored a 13.65 with a 6.6 difficulty and 7.05 execution score. Skinner finished on beam where she had a couple mistakes and scored a 14.2. Biles also finished on beam where she had some trouble, wobbling on a couple of skills and then falling on a side aerial. She finished strong with her signature full in but only scored a 14.6. Ashton Locklear started her meet with a fall on beam but finished on bars with a gorgeous routine with incredible difficulty and scored a 15.2. Macy Toronjo finished her solid competition on beam and scored a 13.7 Ross finished her competition on beam where she seemed hesitant but hit all of her skills for a 15.35.
