The next National Team Training Camp begins this Monday, June 2nd, lead by National Team Coordinator Martha Karolyi. There are a few new faces, and this is the first camp back for 2012 Olympic team and all around champion, Gabby Douglas. 

 

2013 World team members Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/ World Champions Centre, Kyla Ross of Aliso Viejo, Calif./Gym-Max and Brenna Dowell of Odessa, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express, are scheduled to attend. 

The focus of the five-day camp is preparing for upcoming competitions, including the Secret U.S. Classic, the P&G Gymnastics Championships, the Senior Pan American Championships, and the World Championships. Athletes are finalizing routine construction, including new skills and connections, in compliance with the new International Gymnastics Federation rules. They will go through verification with half routine sets and the traditional physical abilities testing.
