The No.1 Florida Gators will return to the Swamp for Valentines Day after a big SEC win in Kentucky, 197.175-195.45.

Bridget Sloan, the reigning NCAA balance beam champion, scored her first perfect 10.0 on beam. This comes just after another 10.0 she scored on the floor exercise just two weeks before against Georgia.

Florida now totals four perfect 10.0 scores this season, which is a program record.

Arkansas, who placed tenth at last years NCAA Nationals, has a season best of a decent 196.275, but if they hope to beat the Gators they will need to bring more fight to the table.

Razorbacks Senior-All American Katherine Grable is ranked No. 2 in the all-around, just 0.005 behind Bridget Sloan. Grable may give Sloan and Kytra Hunter a run for their money on the floor exercise, as she has clinched the floor title at all five meets this season.

Arkansas’ Sidnie Dillard is tied for twelfth in the nation on beam with an average of 9.86, and is definitely one to watch.

Arkansas ranks No. 11 on vault, 16 on bars and floor, and 7th on the balance beam.

Florida’s rankings are No. 6 on vault, 2nd on bars, 1st on beam, and 3rd on the floor exercise.

Senior Alaina Johnson performed in the all-around for the first time since January after a fracture in her back took her out of the competition season. Head Coach Rhonda Faehn has not said if she will be back in the all-around, but don’t be surprised if she is. Her scores at Kentucky were consistent and her routines were all very clean.

Senior Mackenzie Caquatto is struggling with a few injuries, undisclosed by the team, so it is unclear if she will be in the all-around. However, she ranks No. 3 on balance beam.

Freshman Silvia Colussi-Pelaez competed as a Gator for the first time at Kentucky on vault and floor scoring a 9.7 and 9.75 respectively. Claire Boyce, another baby Gator, has been competing and holding strong on the balance beam and floor.
