After three weekends away, the Auburn Tigers were finally back home in the Auburn Arena last night where they defeated No. 19 Arkansas 196.325 to195.650. Auburn not only won the team title, but also won three event titles on vault, beam and floor.
Earning the event titles were Caitlin Atkinson on vault with a career high 9.925, Megan Walker won beam with a 9.875, and Bri Guy, anchoring floor, topped off the meet with a 9.9!

Toi Garcia and Bri Guy posted season highs of a 9.875. After the first rotation, Arkansas trailed behind Auburn with a 49.05 from bars.
Coming off vault, Auburn kept up the momentum and scored a solid 48.85 on bars with Megan Walkers 9.825, and 9.8's from both Abbey Habicht and Bri Guy. The Tigers had to drop Atkinson's score because of a fall, but that did not stop them from finishing up the rotation strong.
After Arkansas posted a 49.2 on Vault with Katherine Grable's 9.925 and Heather Elswick's 9.9, Arkansas led the meet by 1 tenth.
Moving over to beam, Auburn tied up the meet with Walker's beautiful 9.875 routine and a 9.85 from sophomore Caryn Kadous. Even though Arkansas junior Katherine Grable who leads the floor average in the SEC fell, Arkansas still scored a 48.975 on floor. Heading into the final rotation, the meet was tied at 147.225.
Auburn brought down the house on floor with a great way to end the meet and earn a victory over Arkansas. Anchoring floor, Bri Guy won the event with a solid 9.9 and Caitlin Atkinson tied her career best with a 9.875. Auburn posted a 49.1 on floor while Arkansas was forced to count a fall on beam which resulted in a loss for the Razorbacks.
Although Guy had a fall on beam, she won her first all around title of the season with a score of 38.875. And not far behind, Atkinson came in second with a 38.85.
Auburn heads to Tuscaloosa next Friday night to compete against No. 5 Alabama!
