Gabby Douglas Goes Pro!
Gabby Douglas has gone pro!

Joining other recently-turned-pro Team USA members, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, and John Orozco, Gabby Douglas has turned pro.  Gabby has signed with Sheryl Shade of Shade Global, Inc.  Shade represents a long list of famous gymnasts, including Gabby's teammate at Chow's, Shawn Johnson; Paul and Morgan Hamm; Chellsie Memmel; Blaine Wilson; Brandon Wynn; rhythmic gymnast; Julie Zetlin; and legendary gymnastics coach, Bela Karolyi

Going pro means that Gabby has given up her NCAA eligibility; she won't be competing in collegiate gymnastics, which is for amateurs only.  Gabby may now accept prize money, endorsements, and other payments and financial opportunities that may come her way.
