2012 NCAA Women's Preseason Coaches Poll
With just over a month before the start of the 2012 NCAA gymnastics season, the preseason coaches poll is out! The 2010 National Champions are predicted to reclaim their title from Alabama who decisively won in 2011.

Bama will be without All American and 2011 Honda Award winner Kayla Hoffman but has gained a strong freshman class including 2009 World Vault Champion Kayla Williams

UCLA managed to salvage a rough season with a fantastic performance at the 2011 NCAA Championships, finishing 2nd. This year they will have a healthy Vanessa Zamarripa, Samantha Peszek in the all around, and former national team members Mattie Larson and Cassie Whitcomb highlight the freshmen class.

Stanford has surged back into the top 10 after a sudden, shocking end to their 2011 season at the NCAA Regional Championships. They've gained elites Ivana Hong and Becky Wing of Britain who should make immediate impact this season.

Michigan dropped 4 places in the rankings after finishing 6th place in 2011 led by NCAA All Around Champion Kylee Botterman and a strong senior class who contributed more than half of their routines.

Which teams saw the most change the most from last year's final rankings? LSU moved up 8 places to #12, and the Cinderella team of last year, Kent State, has dropped 9 places in the rankings to #21.

As a refresher, here are the 2011 Super Six results:
Alabama, UCLA, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Utah, Michigan
