As the huge club gymnastics invitationals die down and the gymnasts prepare for the State meets, we're taking the focus back to college gymnastics this weekend. I'm up in Ann Arbor right now where I'll be taking advantage of a rare opportunity on Saturday - covering a women's meet and a men's meet in the same day. We'll also have a few of our regular contributors out and about this weekend. Here's a rundown of what you can expect to see on gymnastike this weekend. 

Friday, February 25th: #26 UNH at Bridgeport
David Pendrys continues to dominate coverage in the northeast and will be on hand for the New Hampshire at Bridgeport dual. UNH is currently tied for 26th in the national rankings and Bridgport is the defending USAG Collegiate National Champions. This will be senior night for the Purple Knights.

Saturday, February 26th: #3 Oklahoma at #8 Michigan
We'll be providing full video coverage of one of the biggest match ups in NCAA gymnastics this weekend as the #8 ranked Michigan Wolverines host the undefeated Sooners. You'll get a chance to see the #1 ranked NCAA All Arounder, Kylee Botterman, in action on all 4 events. The last time she competed at home she scored a perfect 10 on vault. Coach Bev Plocki says Michigan has yet to put together a complete meet but still has an impressive season high of 196.80. The Sooners have posted a high of 197.225. It should be an extremely close competition.

Saturday, February 26th: #5 Stanford at #6 Michigan
Michigan won the 2010 NCAA Championships. Stanford won the 2009 NCAA Championships. Who is better in 2011? We'll find out on Saturday as the Wolverines host the Cardinal immediately following the women's competition. Though the ranking may not currently reflect it, Stanford has posted the highest score in the NCAA this year at 364.400, a full four points higher than #1 ranked Oklahoma's season high. 
 *A note to any fans in the area: Fans that attend the women's gymnastics event prior to the men's meet will receive FREE admission! Vouchers will be distributed at the women's meet. (Also note that they compete in different arenas.)

Saturday, February 26th: Illinois State & Centenary at TWU
Rodney Smith will be bringing you coverage of what will likely be an emotional event - the final home meet for long-time Texas Women's Head Coach Frank Kudlac who will retire after this season. It's also senior night for gymnasts Mollie Blessing and Caroline Hilpisch. TWU and ISU are MIC Conference rivals and each time they meet it makes for a close match. ISU is coming off a season-high score of 194.00 last weekend.

Saturday, February 26th: College Club Meet @ Rutgers
David Pendrys is in for a double header at Rutgers on Saturday - the Rutgers club gymnastics team will be hosting a tri meet with the defending NAIGC National Champion University of Rhode Island and the University of Maryland club. For gymnasts who are looking to continue gymnastics in college but perhaps not at the division 1 level, this will be a chance for you to see what club gymnastics is all about!

Saturday, February 26th:  Bridgeport & Ursinus at Rutgers
It's a quick turnaround for Bridgeport, competing 2 days in a row as they head to take on a strong Rutgers team. In the national rankings, Luisa Maria Leal Restrepo of Rutgers holds an impressive #9 national ranking on floor exercise.
