2017-18 NCAA Transfers: Gymnasts Looking For Success On New Teams
Transfers for the 2017-2018 season are bringing new faces to teams hoping to get a boost to their squads. Today we're taking a look at six gymnasts who are looking to find a better fit with their new schools. We wish the best of luck to each of these young women on their new journey starting in 2018.

Ashley Hiller | Florida to Oklahoma

Hiller was granted release from Florida following the 2016-17 season and will join the Sooners for the start of her junior season. During her time as a Gator, Hiller saw action in four meets -- three in 2016 as a freshman and one in 2017 as a sophomore. Her career high on vault is a 9.7 and floor 9.775. Hiller will join a talent-laden OU team where she will look to compete for a lineup spot and help the Sooners defend their national title.

Catie Conrad | Eastern Michigan to Pitt

Conrad has transferred to Pitt for her final season after three years at Eastern Michigan. She has had two different coaches at EMU and would have had a third for her senior season. At Pitt, she'll have a complete new set of coaches in their first year together. She is a stellar gymnast who will be a solid addition for Pitt and we expect great things out of Conrad for her senior season.

Lacy Dagen | Florida to Oregon State

Dagen is another Florida gymnast who has transferred following the 2016-17 season. She's headed to Oregon State for the 2017-18 season. Dagen will join the team as a junior and will be alongside her sister Madison. While Dagen has had an injury-ridden college career thus far, sitting out her freshman and majority of sophomore seasons, she had an extremely successful J.O. and elite career and can bring big gymnastics and scores to the Beavers lineup.

Skyler Sheppard | Arizona to Auburn

Sheppard has announced her transfer from Arizona to Auburn for the 2017-18 season. Sheppard will join the Tigers as a junior and will be a bright spot for Auburn this season. Sheppard competed on three events (vault, beam, floor) for the Wildcats in her time at Arizona. Sheppard missed last season due to injury and will be looking to start a healthy season at Auburn.

Shannon Farrell | Arizona to Rutgers

Farrell transfers to Rutgers after just her freshman year, and the New Jersey Native will be much closer to home at Rutgers. Look for Farrell to make a big splash for the Scarlet Knights as she joins the team.

Kaitlyn Szafranski | LSU to Arizona State

Szafranski is transferring to Arizona State after her sophomore year. Szafranski did not compete for the Tigers in her time at LSU. She will be joining her sister on the ASU team for the 2017-2018 season.

Rachel Ley | Missouri to Rutgers

Ley has announced her transfer from Missouri to Rutgers as she will start in the fall as a redshirt freshman. Ley will be the second transfer to Rutgers for the 2017-18 season.
