Lacy Dagen, Ashley Hiller Granted Releases From Florida
The Florida gymnastics team confirmed on Tuesday that Lacy Dagen and Ashley Hiller have decided to pursue transferring from UF after holding year-end meetings with the coaching staff. The team said it will release both sophomore gymnasts to any school they desire to contact.

In a statement to FloGymnastics, Gators head coach Jenny Rowland wished both athletes success in their future endeavors:

We enjoyed having Lacy and Ashley as part of the team for the past two years. We will help them in any way possible as they look for their next opportunity and wish them all the best.
At Florida, Dagan sat out of the 2016 season with an ACL injury. She appeared in the vault lineup in the Gators' 2017 season opener at NC State and scored a 9.85, but she later suffered a season-ending torn meniscus. She underwent surgery on Feb. 8 to repair her meniscus and didn't compete in any other meets this season.

Hiller has seen action in four meets with UF -- three in 2016 and one in 2017. Her career high on vault and floor is a 9.7 and 9.775, respectively.
