The calm before the regionals storm is upon us. With conference championships completed and the fields set for the NCAA postseason action, it is only right to have a quick talk about what was surely the first travel-free weekend for our favorite college gymnasts this year.

Speaking from personal experience, it is VERY easy to forget what life is like outside of buses, planes, indoor arenas, and leotards from January to April. It was great to see all the relaxing and fun activities these girls packed into just a few days.

Everyone knows downtime was made for keeping your golf game on point.

Although she's no longer competing, former Stanford gymnast Ivana Hong reached the ultimate level of off-weekend comfort, and I, for one, am jealous.
