9-Year-Old Gymnast Rebecca Salmins & Dad Beat Cancer, Launch Kickstarter
Nine-year-old gymnast Rebecca "Becca Boo" Salmins, and her dad, Gerhard, have both beaten cancer. Now, Becca wants to pay it forward by raising awareness and money for childhood cancer research. Becca and her dad came up with the idea to start a company that sells bracelets and donates a portion of proceeds to childhood cancer charities. So, Knots and Arrows was born.

A Kickstarter was launched on Feb. 1 to get Knots and Arrows off the ground and bring Becca's vision to life.

Becca loves gymnastics and enjoyed watching the Final Five while undergoing treatments. It was gymnastics that helped her get her strength back after 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy, and now that she's fully recovered, she's back in the gym every week. She's hoping to see gymnasts sport her bracelets once they launch and really thinks they will like her "Go Gold" collection (see below).

If you want to make a donation to support Knots and Arrows and Becca's mission to end childhood cancer, check out Knots and Arrow's Kickstarter page, which will be live until March 1. She says every little bit helps, as she's hoping to reach 600 backers before March 1. There you can learn more about Becca's story and check all five of her bracelet collections.
