After battling the stomach flu all week, the Florida Gators showed no signs of slowing down against Georgia at home last Friday. The No. 3 Gators not only fended off the then-No. 9 Bulldogs for an important Southeastern Conference win but also notched the nation's fourth-highest score this season with a 197.975.

Florida looks to continue its momentum when it travels to No. 23 Arkansas on Friday at 7 PM ET.

Last Week vs. Georgia:

The Gators put up big scores throughout the entire night and finished with a score of 197.975 to Georgia's 196.525. Three Florida gymnasts set or equaled their collegiate bests to give Florida a sweep of the event titles. Rachel Slocum captured the high score on the vault with a 9.975. Alex McMurtry received a perfect score of 10.0 on uneven bars and a 9.95 on balance beam. Alicia Boren scored a 9.95 on the floor exercise and also received the all-around title with a score of 39.725.

McMurtry's 10.0 was her first of the 2017 season and fourth of her career.

I know I'm capable of a 10 on almost every event, and doing my best at a competition is the best feeling ever. Everybody knows how good we are in practice, and it's just amazing when we can come out and show that to thousands of people. I was so excited with the 10 and everyone's performance tonight.

Weekly Honors:

Boren received the honor of SEC Gymnast of the Week, and McMurtry received the honor of SEC Specialist of the Week. This is the second time this season both athletes have achieved this honor.
