C.G.'s Gymnastics Seeks Restoration After Devastating Louisiana Flooding
The recent flooding in southern Louisiana displaced thousands of people, damaged thousands of homes, and even took several lives. The Red Cross predicted at least $30 million in estimated costs for the damages.

Among the damaged facilities, C.G. Gymnastics in Baton Rouge suffered immense flooding after being showered with more than 20 inches of rain in two days. Every mat in the gym was submerged, along with its two spring floors.

Like many gyms across the nation, C.G. Gymnastics spent more than 30 years accumulating its equipment, and it does not have the funds to replace what was lost.

It's heartbreaking to see the effects of this brutal storm. Gymnastics provides a sense of normalcy, routine, discipline, and a family for the 700 students who attend classes at C.G., so it's like they've lost their second home.

C.G. Gymnastics is asking for help from the gymnastics community and beyond via its Go Fund Me page. All of the funds donated will go toward restoring the gym and helping re-home the families of the gym affected by the flood.
