Deanne Soza has announced her commitment to the University of Utah. A junior elite gymnast who will graduate high school in 2020, Soza will join the Utes for the 2020-2021 season.



Soza made the junior U.S. National Team earlier this year, and set out on her first international assignment in March: International Gymnix in Montreal, Canada. She placed second all-around, and helped the U.S. juniors secure gold in the team competition. This summer, she competed at the P&G Championships and Secret U.S. Classic.

Soza is one of the most determined, hardworking athletes in the field and has battled through countless roadblocks over the last few years. She will be an outstanding addition to the top-notch program at the University of Utah.
