Top NCAA Commits of Summer 2016
This summer fulfilled dreams for many of the most talented and successful club athletes across the nation as they picked their colleges. Below is a list of gymnasts who have committed to the nation's top teams.

Deanne Soza to Utah 2020-2021
Soza is a junior elite gymnast who made her international debut earlier this year and has competed in the Secret U.S. Classic and P&G Championships for the last four years.

Colbi Flory to UCLA 2020-2021
Flory is a junior international elite gymnast from Texas Dreams. She is a two-time competitor at the P&G Gymnastics Championships, and won the 2015 American Classic.

Abbie Nylin to Minnesota 2018-2019
Nylin is a level 10 gymnast from Twin City Twisters. At the 2016 Minnesota state championships, she was first on beam and third in the all-around.

Taylor Alexx returns; Nichelle Christopherson, Graycee Rushton, Mekayla Jones to Arizona State
Alexx is a 2016 NCAA qualifier and will compete for the Sun Devils for a fifth year. Christopherson will be a junior and is transferring from Michigan.

Shilese Jones to Florida 2020-2021
Jones is a junior international elite from Buckeye Gymnastics. She is a three-time competitor at the P&G Gymnastics Championships and most recently finished seventh in the all-around, third on beam, fourth on floor and eighth on bars.

Lauren Navarro to Stanford 2017-2018
Navarro is a senior international elite from Charter Oak Gymnastics. She is a four-time competitor at the P&G Gymnastics Championships. At the 2016 American Classic, she tied for the senior all-around title.

Rachel Slocum added to Florida for 2016-2017
Slocum joins the Gators after transferring from Eastern Michigan. The North Carolina native qualified to the 2016 NCAA Championships as an individual for floor exercise.

Natalie Morton to Denver 2019-2020
Morton is a level 10 gymnast from Texas Dreams. She was sixth in the all-around at 2016 JO Nationals.

Payton Bellows to Arizona 2017-2018
Bellows is a level 10 gymnast from Daggett Gymnastics. She is the reigning Arizona state champion on bars and in the all-around; the reigning Region 6 all-around, vault, bars and floor champion; and was sixth at JO Nationals.

Elena Arenas to LSU 2020-2021
Arenas is a junior international elite from Georgia Elite Gymnastics.

Kyla Bryant to Stanford 2017-2018
Bryant is a level 10 gymnast from Georgia Elite Gymnastics and won JO national titles on bars, floor and in the all-around for 2016.

Isabelle Wittebort to Michigan State 2017-2018
Wittebort is a level 10 gymnast from Stars and Stripes and was 12th in the all-around at the 2016 JO National Invitational Tournament.

Alyssa Baumann to defer Florida
Former senior international elite Alyssa Baumann of WOGA is deferring her enrollment at Florida for one year as a result of her elbow injury. Baumann received surgery on the elbow shortly after the 2016 P&G Championships and was therefore unable to compete at Olympic Trials. She was expected to join the Gators for the 2016-2017 school year.

Belle Gottula to Missouri 2017-2018
Gottula is a level 10 gymnast from AIM Gymnastics. She was fourth in the all-around at the 2016 Texas state championships, third all-around and first on bars at the 2016 Region 3 Championships and was 19th at 2016 JO Nationals.

Brooke Butler to Auburn 2020-2021
Butler is a level 10 gymnast from American Twisters. She is the reigning Florida state champion on vault, beam, floor and in the all-around. At the 2016 Region 8 Championships, Butler was first on vault, beam and in the all-around. At JO Nationals, she finished third in the all-around.

Kaitlyn Higgins to Minnesota 2018-2019
Higgins is a level 10 gymnast from the Gymnastics Academy of Rockford. At the 2016 Region 5 Championships, she was sixth in the all-around. At JO Nationals, she finished eighth.

Sydney Ewing to Michigan State 2018-2019
Ewing is a level 10 gymnast at WOGA. At the 2016 Texas state championships, she was third in the all-around. She finished second in the all-around and first on floor at Region 3 Championships and finished the 2016 season at JO Nationals, where she was 16th in the all-around.

Paige Zaziski added to Michigan for 2016-2017
Zaziski joins the Wolverines after two years at Arkansas, where she competed on three events. She will be a junior.

Sienna Schreiber to Missouri 2019-2020
Schreiber is a level 10 gymnast from Northwind Gymnastics. She is the reigning Georgia state champion on vault, floor and in the all-around. At the 2016 Region 8 Championships, she finished third in the all-around, and at JO Nationals, she was 28th.

Chloe Bellmore to Michigan State 2019-2020
Bellmore is a level 10 gymnast from Gedderts Twistars. She is the reigning Michigan state all-around champion and was 12th at the 2016 Region 5 Championships. At JO Nationals, she was 31st in the all-around.
