This weekend’s WOGA Classic will feature international elites from across the globe, including France’s Loan His and Oreane Lechenault. This kicks off the 2016 season for these athletes and allows them to get a solid competition under their belts before the test event in April, where France will try to qualify as a team to the Rio Olympics.

Loan His

His became a senior in 2015 and made an immediate impact on the French team. She has an incredible focus on the competition floor and an undeniable preciseness and poise. At the 2015 French Championships, His took the all-around and floor titles, then went on to place 11th all-around at European Championships.

Continuing her stellar year, His made the Worlds team and was a key competitor for the French in Glasgow. France finished 10th as a team, qualifying them to the Olympic test event in April. She is definitely one to look out for in the months to come, as she hopes to help qualify the French to Rio.

Oreane Lechenault

Alongside His will be first year senior Oreane Lechenault who will be making her senior debut at the 2016 WOGA Classic. Lechenault is coming off a successful 2015 and hopes to be in the conversation of those selected to represent France at the test event. This past year she took fourth all-around and third on bars at November’s Top Gym meet, and third on bars at Elite Massilia.
