LSU Freshman and former U.S. National Team member Sarah Finnegan scored a 9.85 in her second collegiate beam routine at the 2016 Lady Luck Invite. Finnegan was an alternate to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team but was plagued by injuries later in her elite career.
