Yelena Shushunova - 1988 Olympics

Soviet gymnast Yelena Shushunova on the Floor exercise during her All Around victory at the 1988 Olympic Games. Yelena was an amazing innovator during these games and has multiple skills named after her (Dance and Acro elements to boot!) Not only does she perform amazingly hard skills, but she does them with elegance and grace. She was definitely one of the first power gymnasts that truly had artistry. Also, it is a complete shame that women aren't allowed to do roll-out skills anymore. I know that multiple female gymnasts have been injured performing them, but so have male gymnasts. What is your opinion on this?
