Ali, a freshman from Toms River, N.J., had the best meet of her young career, recording two personal bests and winning a pair of events Saturday against West Virginia. She won the vault (9.825) and beam (9.800) to help the Falcons to a near-upset of the No. 21 Mountaineers.
