World and Olympic Champion McKayla Maroney competed all around today for the first time in over a year at the 2013 World Championships. After a fall on beam in the final rotation, Maroney finished 6th all around, but will not advance to finals due to the two-per-country rule. As expected, Maroney nailed vault and will advance in first place to the event finals as the favorite to defend her 2011 World title. Maroney also hit floor but was knocked out of the final by teammates Kyla Ross and Simone Biles.
