Meet the Elite: Jordyn Wieber

Get to know elite gymnast and 2011 American Cup Champion Jordyn Wieber of Geddert's Twistars USA. Jordyn won the US Junior All Around title in 2008 and has competed in, and won, a few international competitions since then. She was the favorite to win the 2010 US Junior title but suffered ankle injuries in the warmup of the second day of competition and didn't finish the meet. Her first meet back since Nationals was the 2011 American Cup where she edged the reigning World All Around Champion for the gold medal. Jordyn is now in her first season of senior international elite competition and will be one of the frontrunners for the 2011 USA World team and eventually the 2012 USA Olympic team.
