Recruiting 101 For Parents: Your Opinion Counts

Today's Recruiting 101 is geared toward the parents of athletes in the recruiting process. Your opinion counts when your daughter is making her final decision about the college she wants to attend.

1.  You know your daughter best -- her strengths and weakness. 

2.  You know what makes your daughter happy outside of the gym. 

3.  You know her full history and what she has been through both inside and outside of the gym. 

4.  You know how she makes decisions best. 

Be encouraged! Your opinion makes a big difference in her potential success at a university. Keep the communication open and honest. Be the parent that allows your daughter to share all of her concerns, so that together you can have the open communication needed for this very big decision.
