Georgia at Michigan 2016
Georgia traveled to Michigan for their 2016 season opener. A shaky beam rotation proved costly to the Gymdogs who finished with a disappointing 195.20. Michigan ran away with the victory, flirting with a 197 score. Nicole Artz and Olivia Karas closed out the competition with clutch 9.95 floor routines as the Wolverines tallied a final team score of 196.925.

The Wolverines are on a roll after a dominating performance at last weekend's Cancun Classic. They'll find themselves atop the National Rankings for week 2.

Artz won the All-Around title with a 39.45 and grabbed a share of the titles on Bars, Beam, and Floor. Karas won Vault with a yurchenko 1.5 and tied for gold on Floor. Michigan's Talia Chiarelli shared the beam title with Artz. In her first collegiate routine, Georgia freshman Sydney Snead swung to a 9.90 to share the Uneven Bars title.
