Kristina Vaculik took home three titles at the 2012 Canadian Championships, winning the all-around crown with a score of 56.7.  In Saturday's event finals, Vaculik also picked up wins on uneven bars and balance beam.

Vaculik won the all-around despite a fall on balance beam, recording solid numbers on bars (14.7), floor (14.3) and vault (14.25) to best Victoria Moors and Dominique Pegg, who tied for second place with a score of 56.3.  The win marked the third career Canadian Championship for Vaculik, who aims to make her first Olympic team this summer for Canada.

Moors, a fan favorite, earned high marks for her double-twisting Yurchenko on vault (15.0), which helped ease the sting of a fall on her best event, the floor exercise (13.75).  Pegg hit consistent routines across the board, posting the top beam score (14.3) and the second-highest number on floor (14.15) of the night.

Jessica Savona (54.8), Madeline Gardiner (54.35), Brittany Rogers (54.2) and Ellie Black (53.6) rounded out the top finishers.

Black solidified her status as Canada's best vaulter, winning the vault final with an average of 14.475.  Black showed impressive difficulty with a laidout Rudi and a full-twisting laidout Tsukahara.  

Vaculik cruised to to the win in uneven bars finals (14.4), scoring nearly a point higher than second-place Moors (13.65).  

Vaculik and Moors redeemed themselves for errors in the all-around competition, picking up event titles on balance beam and floor exercise, respectively.  Vaculik squeaked past Gardiner on beam, 14.6-14.4, while Moors's 14.6 on floor exercise secured the win over Vaculik (14.0) and Black (13.95).

Canada's biggest star, Peng Peng Lee, withdrew from the competition after dislocating her kneecap training a double-twisting Yurchenko in preparation for the Championships.  There is no word yet on the severity of her injury or whether she will be able to compete in the London Olympics.
