At the 2014 World Championships, Skinner helped Team USA win the team gold, but she also won an individual medal, bronze on vault. Skinner was also close to medaling on floor, where she finished fourth.
In 2015, the Arizona native continued to be strong on vault and floor and was named an alternate to the World Championship team. In 2016, she won the Glasgow World Cup.
