Event Info

In a huge matchup of 4 teams in Fort Worth, Alabama won with a season high of 196.825, Nebraska 2nd with 195.60, LSU set season high of 195.55, and Missouri rounded it out with a 193.40. The MetroPlex Challenge is an annual club meet in Texas that will host an exciting college session this year. Its an exciting field of 4 teams, all of which qualified to NCAA Nationals last season and finished top 12 in the country. This is the first time you're seeing each of these teams on gymnastike this year. Bama is on fire right now after having jumped five places in the national rankings this week, following its best score of the season, a 196.325 last Friday. The meet will also be held on a podium, creating a rare postseason atmosphere early in the regular season.
