Event Info
Over the past few years Universal Gymnastics owner and Head Coach Yin Alvarez has coached his men's team to national prominence. The small gym in Miami is currently home to 3 US National Team Members in Danell Leyva (senior), Edward Mesa (Junior 16-18), and Max Mayr (Junior 14-15). Yin's youngsters are just as good. His pair of 11-year -old level 9's, Rafael Javellana and Marcos Gatinho, took 1st and 3rd all-around at the 2008 Future Stars National Championships.
