The No. 9 Georgia Gymdogs will have their work cut out for them as they travel to Salt Lake City this weekend to take on the No. 5 Utah Red Rocks in a venue that draws, on average, over 14,000 fans to each meet. Both teams are coming off strong performances, as Utah posted a season high 197.525 in a win at Michigan, and Georgia posted two scores of 197+ against highly ranked teams last weekend. This will be the last meet for both teams before they head off to their respective conference championships.

The Gymdogs were solid in last week's double meet weekend, notching 197.275 against Auburn, then just two days later placing second in a meet against UCLA and Stanford with a 197.025. They have won four meets this season, including a win over powerhouse Florida (currently ranked No. 2). Performances to watch for include senior Mary Beth Box, who is last week's SEC Specialist of the Week, and senior Brittany Rogers, who scored a perfect 10 on vault this past Sunday. Other highlights from Sunday include sophomore Gigi Marino's 9.9 on vault, senior Brandie Jay's 9.9 on bars, and junior Ashlyn Broussard's 9.9 on beam.

Depth will pose a challenge for Utah, who has used a different lineup in every meet this season, making adjustments for all-arounder Kari Lee's season-ending injury, injured sophomore Samantha Partyka, and injured senior Kailah Delaney. Partyka hopes to return to the vault lineup this week, and Delaney to beam.  Performances to watch for include senior Breanna Hughes, who is ranked in the top 20 in vault, floor, bars, and the all-around, as well as top 20 ranked teammates sophomore Maddy Stover (beam) and Kassandra Lopez (bars).  Highlights from this weekend include an incredible bar set (9.825 from Partyka and freshman Sabrina Schwab, 9.875 from sophomore Tiffani Lewis and junior Baely Rowe, 9.925 from Lopez, and 9.975 from Hughes), 9.9s on beam from Lopez and Rowe as well as 9.925 from Stover, Hughes' 9.9s on vault and floor, a 9.9 from Lewis on floor.
