Here are my live updates as taken during the 2011 World Championships women's qualification featuring subdivisions 7 and 8 which included USA and Russia. To read in chronological order, begin at the bottom of the page.

Viktoria Komova of Russia moves into the top AA position over Wieber. 60.157 (Wieber scored 60.032). Going to be a battle!!
  
Dementyeva played it safe and only threw a yurchenko full. Did it well.
  
Marachkouskaya (BLR) FX: huge double lay. Shes tall! 1.5 thru to 2.5 twist. over rotated double pike and fell out of bounds.
  
Nabieva VT1: yurchenko double, her typical loose legs in the air. 14.516. (5.8/8.716). VT 2: yurchenko half on pike half off, stick!
  
Komova 14.533 on vault. Nabieva next and will do 2 vaults to get into finals
  
Zimmerman (SUI) BB: excellent double turn! 1 fall, missed the skill. bhs+lay 2 ft series. Roudoff double twist dismount.
  
Komova VT: clean, powerful yurchenko double. Where does she get this power??
  
Dementyeva is running sprints down on the floor prepping for her vault. She did not stand up a single DTY in podium training
  
Afanaseva VT: yurchenko double twist. Legs sloppy in the air but landed well.
  
Yulia B (RUS) VT: leadoff gymnast, only a yurchenko full. 13.533

Komova is warming up DTY's. Maybe saving the amanar for AA finals?
  
Comparing their first 3 events, Komova is 3.5 tenths ahead of Jordyn Wieber
  
Dementyeva FX: 2.5+fly spring.. oops. pike full in bounce back. really selling the jazzy choreo. whip+whip+bhs triple. Fall back on dbl pike
  
Afanaseva FX: gorgeous DLO. whip+whip+bhs+triple. lay back turn pretty but stumbled out. love the choreo. 1.5+front full. very low dbl pike
  
Komova FX: 1.5 to dbl arabian great but step oob. high dbl tuck. triple twist. memmel turn. Swan Lake remix music. dbl pike
  
Ishina scored 13.433 on floor. Komova is next
  
BEL VT: Julie Crocket did a clean yurchenko full. Vanwalleghem anchored with a yurchenko 1.5
  
Ishina FX: whip to dbl arabian. 1.5 to double tuck. good dbl Lturn. 2.5 twist. double pike. Romanian-like music and choreograhy. Shes tiny.
  
14.133 for Yulia Belokbylskaya on FX. Little Yulia Ishina is next
  
Mys (BEL) VT 1: good yurchenko full twist, 13.333.
  
Yuila B (RUS) FX: 1.5 to triple legs crossed. low 2.5 punch lay. memmel turn. front double twist+stag. double tuck. ok routine
  
The Russians move to floor where @Aly_Raisman currently holds the top score with 14.833
  
Dementyeva finished beam with a roundoff, bhs, triple twist dismount but did not quite complete the rotation. The Russians look good
  
Dementyeva BB: illusion turn. switch ring wobble. onodi. sheep. f aerial wobble. switch+back tuck. split+wolf. near fall on rndoff+layout..
  
Komova again moves to 1st place, this time on beam, with a 15.40 (tied with Sui Lu, actually)
  
Afaneseva BB: standing arabian. f aerial+bhs lay2ft. near fall on switch full. Lturn+inside turn. amazing onodi. side somi. double pike
  
Komova has looked absolutely terrible all week in training but she's hit 2 for 2 effortless, world class routines when it counts. amazing.
  
Komova BB: solid punch. bhs lay lay pretty! standing arabian wobble. Lturn+front aerial+sheep. Side somi. perfect dbl turn! dbl tuck
  
Steingruber VT 2: out of the corner of my eye... think it was a tsuk full. hop back on the landing
  
Steingruber (SUI) VT: handspring rudi legs a bit sloppy in the air but good power off the table. Not sure if they will say pike or layout
  
Yulia B (RUS) BB: good save on onodi! switch+back tuck. 1.5 turn leg up at face, pretty. side aerial, swings leg high holds. triple twist
  
Vandersteen (BEL) FX: double tuck. 1.5+front full 2nd pass
  
Ishina (RUS) BB: switch+back tuck. sheep. f aerial+bhs lay. solid so far. side aerial. double pike, good routine
  
Wow, Nabieva got a big score, 14.883, and should in fact make finals. She's in 3rd with that ahead of Americans Douglas & Wieber
 
I don't recall Afanaseva doing bars in podium training, I think she was a late add in place of Belokobyskaya.
 
Afanaseva UB: toe full+maloney 1/2. jaeger. big tkatchev+pak. little wild on the half turn. shoot to hb. giants to near stuck full in.
 
Nabieva hits a very SAFE routine. (No Nabieva release.) ... She's really grown up. Won't make finals, I'm guessing.
 
Nabieva UB: Missed the start but should be shaposh to pak. shaposh 1/2. blind to jaeger. half turn, toe full to stuck full in dismount.
 
Wow score for Komova is huge! 15.733. Highest score given out so far in Tokyo. Dementyeva of Russia scored 14.200
 
Komova UB: shapsoh+pak. pike stalder shapsoh 1/2. jaeger. blind full+tkatchev. full in stick!
 
Dementyeva UB: inbar stlader. blind to jaeger. hop full+tkatchev. form break on overshoot. pretty double lay, step forward
 
Crocket (BEL) BB: pretty bhs lay step out. side somi. easy dismount, run punch front full twist laid out
 
Ishina (RUS) UB: piked jaeger. inbar stalder full to pak. half turn, stalder to shoot to high bar. half turn double front. hit routine

Wow, USA in the AA standings so far: 1. Wieber 60.032 3. Raisman 58.432 4. Douglas 57.657 7. Vega 56.665 9 Maroney 56.332. IMPRESSIVE
 
The German team, posted a score of 221.163 to place them in 5th, Brazil score 212.497 for 8th...top 8 for now - USA,CHN,ROM,AUS,GER,CAN,NED,BRA
 
Thats it! These young US girls did an amazing job!
 
Seitz (GER) BB: good side somi. wobble and save on double turn. hop on switch leap back tuck. front aerail. bhs lay good. Big step back dbl pike
 
Wieber finished with a massive 60.032 AA score! Shes in 1st. Raisman 3rd. Vega finished with 56.665 AA, in 5th now.
 
Douglas UB: jump to hb mount. inbar stalder full, huge tkatchev+ pak! toe shoot. inbar stalder. perfect endo. half turn, full in near stick!
 
Wieber UB: wieler kips. maloney+free hip+full turn+overshhoot, toe shoot. tkatchev. pretty double lay, just a tiny hop. 4 for 4!
 
Chsovitina BB: punch pike mount. punch front+back pike. swtich+lay step out. Stuck roundoff double tuck dismount. Age 36. Amazing!
 
Score for Maroney: 13.666
 
Vega UB: gienger legs together. stalder full+piked tkatchev. straddle tkatchev. overshoot great+hect shoot. full in. Another hit!
 
Nice, 14.00 for Raisman on bars! She finishes with a great 58.432 AA score, currently 2nd behind Yao. Vega is next
 
Maloney UB: shaposh. wieler kip+piked jaeger. pak. half turn, hect shoot to high bar. blind full. stuck full in!
 
Yao Jinnan is in a league of her own right now in the AA standings at 59.031, 3 points ahead of others. Raisman & Wieber should be close
 
Raisman UB: maloney+overshoot arched over but saved it. blind to jaeger. stalder full+tkatchev. hop change to stuck double front! good.
 
Douglas looks fantastic on bars in warmup. Raisman is chalking up to lead off the team
 
Think I said Maroney's average was 14.633. Sorry, that is the score for her 2nd vault. Avg=15.083. She is 1st on VT for now, Chusovitina 2nd
 
USA is still in the lead after three events by nearly three points over Romania and China.
 
Dos Santos FX: full twisting dbl layout huge! The skill named 4 her, piked dbl arabian was massive, runs foward. front pike step out to dbl pike. DLO last pass!
 
Judging delay on floor before Dos Santos. All other events are complete
 
Great vault rotation for USA, even without Alicia. Anna Li is still down on the floor with the team, and in a leotard, but will not do bars
 
Hypolito (Brazil) FX: double layout 1st pass good. 1.5+front lay full. Double tuck to close, step forward
 
Maroney VT 2: good, clean yurchenko 1/2 on layout half off. 14.633
 
Seitz (GER) hit bars! I missed the maloney full twist but judging by the crowd's reaction is was great! Good full in dismount
 
15.533 for Maroney's 1st vault (9.033 execution... seems low).
 
Maroney VT: highest amanar I have ever seen her do. Just unreal. Crowd is amazed. Me too.
 
15.433 for Wieber VT. Jade Barbosa (Brazil) opened FX with a very straight double layout
 
Gil (COL) BB: jump to split mount. bhs lay stepout good. front aerial. side aerial. front tuck. Hit routine
 
Wieber VT: excellent yurchenko 2.5 twist, just like usual! Geddert jumped up and screamed!
 
Raisman VT: good, strong yurchenko double. tiny hop back
    
Escobar COL did a front double full dismount off of beam. Cool.
    
14.588 for Douglas VT.
    
Douglas VT: great yurchenko double twist. Not much distance from the horse but clean vault. Pia Tolle (GER) sat down dbl front UB dismount
    
Vega VT: yurchenko 1.5 plenty of power. Opened it up and stepped forward. Form looked good in the air. Douglas next
    
Raisman scored 14.833 which puts her in 1st so far! She and Wieber should advance to FX finals

Wieber sits in 2nd behind Sui Lu of China on both beam (15.233) and floor (14.566). Ponor's 15.0 on beam is now 4th
    
Maroney FX: 3.5 twist PERFECT! 2.5 twist+just a front tuck, played it safe. 1.5 to double tuck hopped oob. Double tuck & delayed split jump
    
14.566 for Wieber on FX (6.0 D score). That could final
    
Seitz VT: good double twisting yurchenko. Germany is done on vault. Maroney next on FX
    
Wieber FX: double double easy! 1.5 to triple, stick. crowd clapping along. love the music. 2.5+lay tucked at the end. Double pike. great job
    
13.90 for Sabrina Vega on floor.
    
Chusovitina VT 2: excellent tsukahara 1.5 twist. Very clean and straight in the air. Going for her 5th? olympics. She amazes me!
    
Vega FX: stuck pike full in! double tuck+delayed stag jump. Gorgeous, expressive dance. 2.5+lay hit. perfect switch ring. Double pike great
    
Chusovitina VT: handspring rudi great! landed with feet apart with basically stuck the thing!
    
RT @nrarmour US scores 58.932 for beam, which puts them in 1st (comparatively) after 1 rotation.
    
Douglas FX: 1.5 thru to triple excellent! clean double arabian step forward. hit leaps. great full in. Shes rocking this! double tuck+split jump!
