With the votes counted, we are ready to announce this year's Excellence in Gymnastics Performance Yearly (EGPY) Awards! So put on your red carpet attire and prepare your acceptance speeches as we announce the results!

Best Male Gymnast of the Year goes to Kohei Uchimura of Japan. Uchimura saw an excellent 2012 winning the men's all around title at the London Olympics. Uchimura also helped the Japanese team to a silver medal in the Team Final.

Taking home the prize for Best Female Gymnast of the Year by an exceptionally close margin is Aly Raisman. Raisman was the most decorated American gymnast of the London Games taking home two gold medals in the Team and Floor Finals, and a bronze in the Beam Final.

The Best Championship Performance award recognizes outstanding routines that helped clinch a National or Championship title. McKayla Maroney earns the title for her outstanding stuck Amanar in the London Team final. Maroney recently returned to elite competition, so fingers crossed that similar performances loom in the not so distant future.

This next award goes to the athlete who burst onto the scene and whose stellar athleticism impressed multitudes. Best Breakthrough Gymnast goes to Aly Raisman for her exceptional achievements in the London Olympics including, but not limited to placing first in the Floor Event Final and finishing fourth in the All Around Final.

The Best Moment Award recognizes a snippet of time that dramatically affected gymnastics history. This year's Best Moment Award goes to the Fierce Five for becoming only the second American Women's gymnastics team to ever win gold in an Olympic Team final.

Winning the Best Comeback Award is Jordyn Wieber for overcoming a disheartening blow when she missed out on the All Around final and coming back to represent her team providing vital scores in the Team Final to help USA win gold.

Perhaps the most unsurprising announcement of the night, the Best Team Award goes to the Fierce Five for their impressive feats at the 2012 London Games.

This year's Best Coach is Liang Chow of Chow's Gymnastics and Dance for his talent and skill in nurturing Gabby Douglas the 2012 All Around Champion. Liang Chow also earns notoriety for coaching Gold medalist Shawn Johnson as well as new elites Rachel Gowey, Norah Flatley, and Alexis Vasquez.

Finally, the award for Best College Gymnast goes to Rheagan Courville of LSU. Courville also won SEC Gymnast of the year after a great NCAA campaign where she aided LSU to a fifth place finish in the Team final and earned a first place finish for herself in the NCAA Championship Vault Final.

Thanks for voting in this year's EGPY Awards!
