Coaches Got Skills: Double Doubles
"Muscle memory" is a common term when it comes to gymnastics skills. You take some time off...you can still do a handstand, a back tuck, or even a series on beam. But what about a double double?! Check out these college coaches who are throwing crazy tricks during their summer camps. Yes, it's on tramp in a belt...but still super impressive.

Shannon Welker, Head Coach at Mizzou, was a gymnast at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He was a team captain for three years, earned NCAA All-American honors in 1996, and was inducted into the Chicago Athletics Hall of Hame in 2005. Welker has been the coach at Missouri for 2 seasons now, and has led the team to a 20-spot jump in the rankings since his arrival in 2013. And he can still jump pretty high himself...

It doesn't end there. Mizzou Assistant Coach Casey Jo Magee MacPherson shows her stuff too. MacPherson was a superstar on the Arkansas gymnastics team during her college career from 2006-2010, winning 71 individual event titles on her way to eight All-America honors. Following her competitive career at Arkansas, she competed at the senior international elite level in 2011 and 2012. Another comeback in the making?!

Megan Marsden is in her 32nd year of coaching at Utah and her seventh as a co-head coach. A former Ute gymnast, she finished her career (1981-84) as a 12-time first-team All-American and was recongized in her senior year as the country's top collegiate woman gymnast. As a gymnast or coach, Marsden has particapated in all of Utah's 10 national championships as well as 35 of its record-setting 40 national championship appearances. 31 years later and she's still got it.
