Gabby Douglas has been nominated by Nickelodeon for the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards as the Most Enthusiastic Player. 

 

Other categories include Best Male Athlete, Best Female Athlete, Favorite Newcomer, and Biggest Powerhouse.

 

Douglas is the only gymnast nominated although there are a few other categories that we think deserve some gymnast nominees! Sickest Moves, Don’t Try This at Home, and Hands of Gold awards include snowboarders, skiers, skateboarders, and surfers but no gymnasts. Which gymnasts would you add to those categories?

The Kid's Choice Sports Awards will bring together some of the best athletes for a night of games, friendly competitions, and the awards show, which will take place on Thursday, July 16 and broadcasted live on Nickelodeon.
