Men's Must Watch Routines At 2015 AT&T American Cup
The 2015 AT&T American Cup will take place on March 7, 2015.  This event will be held at extremely spacious, Cowboy Stadium.  This year’s American Cup will feature nine male athletes from seven different countries.  Take a look at the top 10 men’s must see routines! 
 
1. Sam Mikulak (USA)- Parallel Bars
Sam Mikulak is a gymnast to watch at the 2015 American Cup on Parallel Bars.  Mikulak has had great success in his career on p-bars and looks to continue.  Mikulak’s p-bar routine features great control, difficulty and execution throughout.  Look for Mikulak to shine on p-bars and use this event to push him onto the podium.  Watch his routine here. 

2. Donnell Whittenburg (USA)- Vault 
Donnell Whittenburg burst onto the scene last year and hasn’t looked back.  Whittenburg is a very strong and powerful gymnast and that shows within his vault.  He performs a handspring double front, half out.  When Whittenburg hits this vault he has the opportunity to score huge.  We look forward to seeing this powerful and impressive vault. 
 
 
3. Ryohei Kato (JPN) – Floor 
Ryohei Kato will be one to watch on floor.  At the World Championships Kato performed a 6.7 start value routine for a score of 15.833.  His tumblings features impressive twisting skills inluding a 3 1/2 twist.  Kato gains lots of bonus from combination passes throughout.  Look for Kato to score big on floor.  Watch his routine here
 
4. Yusuke Tanaka (JPN)- High Bar 
Yusuke Tanaka was the 2014 World Championships, bronze medalist in the all-around.  One event that Tankaka shines on is the high bar.  His breath taking release moves will prove to be impressive.  Tankaka also shows great combination work and a sky high dismount.  His routine features a layout full twisting kovacs and a tucked full twisting kovacs.  Look for Tanaka to ‘wow’ on high bar at this year’s American Cup. 
 
 
5. Oleg Verniaiev (Ukraine)- Parallel Bars
Oleg Verniaiev will be one to watch on parallel bars.  Verniaiev is the defending World Champion on p-bars.  His routine has great difficulty, fluidity, control and great execution.  Verniaiev was the only gymnast to score above a 16 at the World Championships on p-bars.  His routine features unique one bar work and is capped off with a difficult double front - half out dismount.  Watch his impressive routine here

6. Yusuke Tanaka (JPN)- Parallel Bars
At this year’s American Cup you will not want to miss Yusuke Tanaka on parallel bars.  Tanaka performs a 6.6 start value routine that is done with great execution and clean lines.  He scored an impressive 15.70 at the World Championships.  Within his routine he features one bar work along with great control to end skills in handstand.  Look for this routine to score big at this year's American Cup.  Watch his routine here

7. Ryohei Kato- (JPN)- Parallel Bars
Ryohei Kato won the bronze medal on parallel bars at the 2014 World Championships.  Kato is a strong performer on p-bars with great difficulty and execution.  Kato will be a gymnast to watch on this event and contend for the all-around title as well.  Watch his routine here. 

8. Donnell Whittenburg (USA)- Rings 
Donnell Whittenburg enjoyed success on rings last season winning the silver medal at the U.S. Championships and Winter Cup.  Whittenburg performed a still rings routine at the 2014 P & G Championships with a 6.8 start value.  His routine showcases amazing combinations, strength holds and is capped off with a layout double double dismount.  Watch his rings routine here.     
 
9. Sam Mikulak (USA)- Floor
Sam Mikulak is veteran gymnast who will look to take the American Cup title this year.  Mikulak will be one to watch on floor at this year’s competition.  Mikulak's routine features great difficulty with the possibility of upgrades.  Mikulak has performed in the past with a start value of 6.6. Mikulak also has great difficulty with his flare work and combinations.  Look for Mikulak to go big for stuck landings.  
 

10. Andrey Likhovitskiy (Belarus)- Pommel Horse  
The tricky pommel horse will be highlighted by Andrey Likhovitskiy from Belarus.  Likhovitskiy is a very strong performer on this event.  His routine travels very smoothly across the horse with great lines and extension.  Likhovitskiy is impressive with his control and one pommel work.  Look for Likhovitskiy to impress on the difficult pommel horse.
