Number three ranked Florida beat number 11 Georgia tonight 197.6 to 196.95. Kytra Hunter won vault with a 9.975, Kiera Brown and Alex McMurtry tied on bars with 9.925s, Ashlyn Broussard won beam with a 9.95, and Kennedy Baker and Hunter tied on floor with 9.975s. Hunter also took first in all-around with a 39.675.

Florida had an outstanding meet overall and earned their highest team score of the 2015 season. The Gators also earned season highs on beam and floor with a 49.375 and 49.55 respectively. Hunter lead the team scoring a 9.975 on vault as well as floor. She scored not only her highest all-around, but the nation's highest all-around score of the season. Baker earned her season high in all-around with a 39.55. Baker's 9.975 on floor was also the highest a freshman has ever scored on floor in Florida history.

Florida star Bridget Sloan is still out due to a severe ankle sprain but the Gators have been showing their depth with other gymnasts stepping up to replace her. Rachel Spicer competed for the first time on floor this season and Baker has been emerging as a leader competing all-around.

Georgia had a solid meet and nearly tied their season high which they set last week with a 196.975. Junior Brandie Jay led the team with a 9.925 on vault and floor and a 9.9 on bars. Broussard earned a career-high on beam with her 9.95 that also was the high of the meet. Mary Beth Box earned a pair 9.9s on beam and floor.
