Day two of men’s qualifications is complete and the teams and gymnasts who have qualified for team, all-around, and event finals is set. China finished qualifications in first as a team with a 362.698, Japan is in second with a 361.609, and USA is in third with a 360.393.

Reigning World Champion Kohei Uchimura of Japan has the all-around high with a 92.165. David Belyavskiy of Russia is in second with a 90.748 and Shudi Deng of China is in third with a 90.63.

The top eight teams will move on to team finals, top 24 all-around gymnasts will move on to all-around finals, and the top eight on each event qualify for event finals. There is a two person per country max.

From USA, Donnell Whittenburg and Sam Mikulak qualified for all-around finals. Individual event finalists are Jake Dalton on floor and vault, Alex Naddour on pommel horse, Danell Leyva on parallel bars, and Whittenburgh on parallel bars.
