Key Withdraws From Classic

2013 Secret US Classic junior champion, Bailie Key has withdrawn from competing at this year's US Classic. Key. According to the Texas Dreams twitter account, Bailie had a minor arm procedure, and there was not enough time for her to recover before Classics.

Key was the front-runner for this year's Classic and has been having an outstanding year. After winning the 2013 National title, Key went on to compete at the 2014 Jesolo Trophy where she won first in all-around and on vault, bars, and floor, and lead USA to team gold. She continued her winning streak at the 2014 Pac Rims where she won first in all-around and on vault and floor, and second on bars and beam, as well as helping team USA win gold.

Now the door is wide open, who will be the 2014 Secret US Classic all around champion? Favorites include Nia Dennis, who placed second to Key at both the 2014 Jesolo Trophy and 2014 Pac Rims, and Norah Flatley, Chow's up and coming junior elite who also competed at Jesolo and Pac Rims.
