In this weekend's highy anticipated top 10 matchup, Alabama will attempt to rebound from their uncharacteristic loss to Nebraska and climb back up the rankings. The Nation's #1 ranked all-arounder Katherine Grable will lead Arkansas as they seek a solid road score and attempt to upset the Tide.
Both teams have top tier routines and you can watch all the performances plus interviews and behind the scenes coverage right here on Gymnastike.

Alabama was ranked #3 after their first meet where they scored a 197.15. However, during an off meet this past weekend, Bama was upset by Nebraska and fell to #7 in the Nation. This Friday, in the comfort of their own arena, fans will get a first glimpse of how resilient the team is.

Star senior Diandra Milliner is ranked first on vault and fourth on floor but was out last week with a strained calf muscle, which lead to last minute shuffling of line-ups. Senior Kim Jacob is 13th all-around and 22nd on bars.

Grable is ranked first in the nation in all-around for the second week in a row. She will lead the Razorbacks as they enter their third meet after two consistent weeks of competitions. Arkansas has not had to count a fall in either of their meets and their strongest event is balance beam where their team is ranked sixth in the nation. Freshman Amanda Wellick is ranked 21st in all-around and sophomore Sydnie Dillard is eighth on beam.

This meet will be Alabama’s annual “Power of Pink” meet raising awareness, support, and money for breast cancer. This is the 10th annual pink meet at Alabama and  head coach Sarah Patterson was the first to come up with a "pink" gymnastics meet.  Click HERE to watch Sarah Patterson tell the story of the Pink Meet.

Since its inception, the Power of Pink has sold out Alabama's Coleman Coliseum, which holds 15,075 fans, six times. Another sell out crowd is anticipated this weekend.
