The Pan American Senior Championships in Artistic Gymnastics begin Thursday, August 8th at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan. 

Athletes expected to contend for titles on the women's side are Victoria Moors of Canada, Ellie Black of Canada, Danielle Hypolito of Brazil, Ana Sofía Gomez of Guatemala, and Jessica López of Venezuela. 

Big names to watch on the men's side include Diego Hypolito and Sergio Sasaki of Brazil, Tommy Ramos of Puerto Rico, Jossimar Calvo of Colombia, and Federico Molinari of Argentina. 

Also of note, 2000 U.S. Olympian and 2001 World Parallel Bars Champion Sean Townsend is listed as a coach for Venezuela. 

Athletes from the United States will be absence as the P&G Championships will take place next week in Hartford, CT.
