LIVE Stream of the 2013 Anadia World Challenge Cup This Weekend


It's been a long layoff...too long, but guess what!  Gymnastike is back with another LIVE gymnastics event for all of our Gymnastike Gold subscribers. We've already presented LIVE coverage from some of the biggest gymnastics events in the country: The Metroplex Challenge, WOGA, etc. This time, we're coming at you with some international flavor.  Gymnastike is thrilled to bring you 
LIVE coverage of the 2013 Anadia World Challenge Cupwhich will stream this weekend, June 22-23. An official FIG World Challenge Cup, this event comes at you LIVE from Portugal and hosts Olympic stars such as Larisa Iordache and Diana Bulimar.

Events: Men - Floor, Pommel Horse and Rings 
            Women: Vault and Uneven Bars

Live Broadcast Schedule for Sunday, June 23:
8:40 - 11:30am CT
Events: Men - Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar
            Women - Beam and Floor

THE NAMES

As mentioned, the nominative entry list includes some huge names, such as Iordache and Bulimar! Iordache is already having a terrific season including winning four medals at the 2013 European Championships placing 1st on beam and  second in the all around, vault and floor finals.  



As always, they will face tough competition from the Russians who are sending Olympic medalist Anastasia Grishina, first year senior Ekaterina Baturina, Alla Sosnitskaya, and Anna Rodionova. Two-time British Olympian Hannah Whelan will be looking for redemption after a tough British Championships, and we'll get the first look at British star and 2012 Olympian Rebecca Tunney who is back from an injury. Also headlining the women's field are incredible 6-time Olympian Oksana Chusovitina representing Uzbekistan, up-and-coming Chinese gymnast Zeng Siqi, 2-time Olympian Jessica Lopez of Venezuela, and German Olympian Kim Bui



The men's side in Anadia is equally stacked. Expect to see 2012 U.S. Olympian and 2013 NCAA Champion Sam Mikulak, World Floor Champion Diegeo Hypolito of Brazil, Olympic Bronze Medalist and European Floor Champion Max Whitlock of Great Britain, Olympic Rings Champion Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti of Brazil, World Rings Champion Yan Mingyong of China, World medalist Alexander Shatilov of Israel, Brandon Wynn of USA, Eddie Penev of USA, Enrique Tomas Gonzalez Sepulveda of Chile and Matthias Fahrig of Germany.
