It was day two of qualifications at the GymWorld Challenge Cup in Cottbus, Germany. The top eight qualifiers on each apparatus advance to Sunday's event finals.

2012 U.S Olympian, Jake Dalton, advanced to Sunday's finals with his second place finish on the vault. Dalton performed a double twisting front layout and a Kasamatsu double which averaged a 14.7 and earned Dalton a spot in Sunday's finals. Hong Kong's Wai Hung Shek was the top qualifier with a 14.95



Switzerland's Lucas Fischer was the top qualifier for the men on parallel bars with a 15.05.  Fischer's routine had a  6.5 value for difficulty and ended with a stuck double pike dismount. USA's Brandon Wynn qualified in the 7th position after his routine earned him a 14.75 and a spot in Sunday's finals.





It was a rough beam final with only one competitor scoring above a 14.0.  A Member of the 2012 Russian Olympic Team, Anastasia Grishina, had the top score during the qualifications. Grishina struggled on a few connections but her score of 14.05 was enough to pass the 2nd place qualifier, Noel Van Klaveren of the Netherlands, score of 13.850.



2011 European All-Around Champion, Anna Dementyeva heads into the finals as the top qualifier on floor. The Russian suffered a low landing on her triple twist but her score of 14.0 was over six tenths higher then Spain's Silvia Colussi score of 13.450.
