2013 SCEGA California Classic

Olympic Champions Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney, began their Olympic Journey in Sunny Southern California.  Needless to say, the talent in California is outstanding and this weekend Gymnastike has the privilege of watching some of the best of the best at the 2013 SCEGA Cal Classic.

The meet is hosted by SCEGA at Soka University in the beautiful Aliso Viejo, California.  SCEGA, one of the top gyms in the country,  has produced numerous state and regional champions as well as National Qualifiers, National Team Members, National Champions, Olympic Trials Qualifiers, and a World Championship Team Member. SCEGA has also had 27 gymnasts receive full athletic scholarships. SCEGA gymnast Kristyn Hoff committed to Washington, Kami Shows to LSU and Sarah Garcia to Auburn. Not to mention SCEGA Alumni Sophina Dejesus is currently competing for Valorie Kondos-Fields and her Bruins at UCLA.

The competition will be fierce with a very competitive roster with so many talented teams  including Gym-Max, home gym for Olympic Champion Kyla Ross.  It is safe to say that this will be an exciting weekend of competition.

Stay tuned for competition videos and interview throughout the weekend on the 2013 California Classic video channel!
