Just a few days after winning the 2013 Winter Cup all around title, Jake Dalton has been selected to represent the USA at the French International this March. This will be the second international assignment of the month for both Dalton and Olympic bronze medalist Danell Leyva who are also slated to compete at the American Cup on March 2nd in Worcester, Massachusetts.

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 13, 2013 – 2012 Olympic all-around bronze medalist Danell Leyva of Miami/Universal Gymnastics, and 2012 Olympian Jake Dalton of Reno, Nev./University of Oklahoma, will lead the U.S. delegation at the 2013 French International in La Roche sur Yon, France, March 16-17. 2012 Olympic replacement athletes Steven Legendre of Port Jefferson, N.Y./ University of Oklahoma, and Alex Naddour of Gilbert, Ariz./ USA Youth Fitness, will join Leyva and Dalton at the two-day World Cup, which is an International Gymnastics Federation individual apparatus World Cup event.
 
Dalton will perform on four events (floor exercise, still rings, vault and horizontal bar), and Leyva on three (pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar). Legendre (floor) and Naddour (pommel horse) will each perform on one event.
 
The French International field includes reigning Olympic champions Krisztian Berki of Hungary and Yang Hak-Seon of South Korea, who captured the pommel horse and vault titles, respectively, at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
